Enter and inspect the family child care home without advance notice whenever children are in care.
File a complaint against the licensee and review the public licensing file.
Review reports of licensing visits and substantiated complaints from the last three years.
Complain to the licensing office without discrimination or retaliation.
Receive notice regarding excluded individuals from the child care home.
Request in writing that a parent not be allowed access to a child with a certified court order.
Receive licensing office contact information.
Request information regarding adults granted criminal record exemptions.
Receive the Caregiver Background Check Process form.
Be informed whether the facility carries liability insurance.
